Jalie Beatrice Top

Started with size O which is the size of the Bella dress I made her (it fit well) and it was way too big.  Second try - size K. Much better fit.  Still had to shave 1/4" off side seams and next time add an inch in length.

Penguin tunic top with leggings

I made this cute outfit for my grandaughter. The pattern for the top is Bohene Sky from Striped Swallow made in size 12 months. I made the tunic length. The fit was spot on for Abby :)

The pants are Flash Leggings from Jennuine Design in size 12-18 months. It says it allows room for a cloth diaper. Abby is 9 months and has adorably chubby legs. These were pretty snug on her and very long.

 Both top and pants fabrics are from Purple Seamstress. The top is Tophat Penguins, a 4 way, medium weight, cotton lycra knit. The bottoms are the cotton lycra solid in black. I made the bows from a tutorial on the Striped Swallow site with 4x3 squares.
